We are looking for an energetic, result-oriented, and client-focused Assistant Manager – MICE Events who can independently manage business development, client servicing, event operations, vendor coordination, and project execution while contributing towards business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Generate new corporate business opportunities for Domestic and International MICE events.
  • Identify prospective clients through networking, references, LinkedIn, industry associations, and cold outreach.
  • Develop relationships with corporate decision-makers, HR Heads, Admin Teams, Procurement Teams, Marketing Heads, and CXOs.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and requirement gathering.
  • Prepare customized proposals, presentations, budgets, and commercial quotations.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close deals.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and update CRM regularly.
  • Upsell and cross-sell additional event and travel services.
  • MICE Planning & Event Management
  • Plan and execute domestic and international MICE programs.
  • Handle Conferences, Incentive Tours, Dealer Meets, Annual Conferences, Leadership Summits, Rewards & Recognition Programs, Corporate Offsites, Team Building Activities, and Business Retreats.
  • Coordinate with airlines, hotels, DMCs, transport partners, visa agencies, and local vendors.
  • Develop detailed itineraries, rooming lists, transportation plans, event schedules, and contingency plans.
  • Ensure seamless execution from enquiry to project closure.

Operations & Project Execution

  • Manage complete project lifecycle from enquiry to execution.
  • Coordinate with internal departments including Design, Production, Client Servicing, Finance, and Operations.
  • Prepare project timelines and execution checklists.
  • Ensure all deliverables are completed within deadlines.
  • Monitor event quality standards and client expectations.
  • Travel for site inspections and event execution whenever required.

Vendor Management

  • Identify and onboard new vendors across destinations.
  • Negotiate competitive pricing with hotels, venues, airlines, transport companies, production vendors, and activity partners.
  • Manage vendor contracts and service quality.
  • Build strategic partnerships with hospitality partners.

Travel & Tourism Coordination

  • Coordinate hotel bookings, flights, transfers, visas, insurance, and destination logistics.
  • Liaise with travel partners for corporate group travel.
  • Stay updated with destination trends and tourism regulations.
  • Suggest suitable destinations based on client objectives and budgets.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • MBA in Marketing or Tourism Management will be an added advantage.
  • 5–7 years of experience in MICE, Corporate Events, Hospitality, Travel, Event Management, Destination Management, or Advertising.
  • Proven experience in business development and client acquisition.
  • Strong network within the corporate sector will be preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
