Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager - Road Transportation to drive business growth by acquiring new clients and expanding the company's road transportation services. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in logistics sales, truck transportation, client acquisition, and key account management, with the ability to achieve revenue targets in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for road transportation and truck transportation services.
  • Acquire new customers through field sales, networking, referrals, and market research.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients across manufacturing, trading, FMCG, retail, and other industries.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business and revenue targets.
  • Conduct client meetings, sales presentations, and commercial negotiations.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and service agreements.
  • Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Manage key accounts and drive customer retention through excellent service.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
  • Maintain CRM records, sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development or Sales within the Road Transportation, Truck Transportation, Logistics, or Freight industry.
  • Strong understanding of road freight operations and transportation services.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings as required.
