Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and creative Silicone Artist to design and develop lifelike anatomical models and medical simulation products. The ideal candidate will have expertise in sculpture, mold making, silicone casting, and realistic finishing techniques, along with a keen eye for anatomical accuracy and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Sculpture & Model Development

• Create highly detailed sculptures based on anatomical references, concept sketches, and product specifications.
• Develop master models for medical simulation and anatomical training products.
• Interpret medical illustrations, reference images, and design briefs to produce anatomically accurate models.

Mold Making & Silicone Casting

• Design and fabricate silicone molds for production.
• Perform silicone casting using platinum-cure silicone and other suitable materials.
• Work with materials including silicone, resin, plaster, fiberglass, foam, clay, and other sculpting media.

Painting & Finishing

• Apply painting, pigmentation, texturing, and finishing techniques to achieve realistic skin tones and anatomical details.
• Create lifelike textures, surface finishes, and color effects for medical simulation models.
• Ensure exceptional quality and consistency across all finished products.

Product Development & Collaboration

• Collaborate with product designers, engineers, and medical experts throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Modify, repair, and improve existing simulation models based on customer or internal feedback.
• Research and implement new sculpting techniques, materials, and finishing methods to enhance product realism.

Quality & Production

• Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and quality throughout sculpting and production processes.
• Meet project deadlines while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support research and development initiatives for new simulation products.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, Sculpture, Industrial Design, Applied Arts, or a related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in sculpture, model making, prosthetics, special effects (SFX), collectibles, figurines, or medical model development.
• Freshers with an exceptional portfolio and strong sculpting skills are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent hand sculpting skills using clay or similar materials.
• Experience with silicone mold making, casting, and fabrication techniques.
• Knowledge of painting, pigmentation, texturing, and realistic surface finishing.
• Ability to work with silicone, resin, plaster, fiberglass, foam, and related materials.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical simulation, anatomical models, prosthetics, or hyper-realistic sculptures.
• Hands-on experience with platinum-cure silicone, resin casting, and prosthetic materials.
• Understanding of human anatomy and medical visualization.
• Experience working in product development or R&D environments.
