We are looking for a highly experienced Performance Marketing Lead who can drive agency-wide performance marketing success while leading and mentoring a team of performance marketers. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, campaign expertise, leadership, and client management capabilities.

Job Summary

The Performance Marketing Lead will be responsible for overseeing paid media strategies across Google Ads and Meta Ads, driving campaign performance, managing high-budget accounts, mentoring team members, and ensuring exceptional client outcomes.

This is a leadership role focused on both business results and team development. The ideal candidate should possess strong agency experience, hands-on expertise in paid advertising, and the ability to scale campaigns while maintaining profitability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Performance Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and execute paid media strategies across Google Ads and Meta Ads.
  • Create campaign frameworks for lead generation, e-commerce, branding, and performance-focused objectives.
  • Guide campaign planning across Search, Display, YouTube, Performance Max, Demand Gen, Meta Feed, Reels, Stories, and Lead Generation campaigns.
  • Recommend budget allocation, audience targeting, and funnel strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify growth opportunities and scaling strategies across client accounts.

2. Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Lead, mentor, and support Senior Performance Marketers and Performance Marketing Executives.
  • Conduct campaign reviews and provide strategic guidance.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Establish best practices, SOPs, and optimization frameworks across the team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.

3. Performance Ownership

  • Own campaign performance across assigned accounts.
  • Monitor and optimize key metrics including CPL, CPC, CTR, ROAS, ROI, Conversion Rate, and Lead Quality.
  • Drive continuous optimization and performance improvements.
  • Ensure efficient budget utilization and campaign profitability.
  • Develop performance benchmarks and reporting standards.

4. Client Strategy & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead strategic discussions with clients regarding campaign performance and growth opportunities.
  • Present campaign insights, recommendations, and business outcomes.
  • Manage client escalations and provide effective solutions.
  • Build long-term client relationships through consistent performance delivery.

5. Analytics, Tracking & Reporting

  • Ensure accurate implementation of:

    • Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
    • Google Tag Manager (GTM)
    • Meta Pixel
    • Conversion API (CAPI)
    • Event Tracking & Attribution Models
  • Review campaign reporting and dashboard accuracy.
  • Identify tracking gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Establish agency-wide reporting standards and performance frameworks.

6. Innovation & Process Improvement

  • Develop and improve internal performance marketing processes and SOPs.
  • Stay updated on advertising platform changes, AI tools, automation solutions, and industry trends.
  • Implement new technologies and methodologies to improve campaign efficiency and results.
  • Contribute to agency growth initiatives and new business opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 4–8 years of hands-on experience in Performance Marketing within a digital marketing agency.
  • Proven experience managing high-budget Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns.
  • Experience leading and mentoring performance marketing teams.
  • Google Ads Certification and Meta Blueprint Certification preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and team members simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on execution mindset.
  • Comfortable working from the Hyderabad office.
