Job Position: Senior Customer Support Engineer
Company: Amphenol Times Microwave Systems
Location: Bangalore, India
Reporting To: Manager
Role Overview
Amphenol Times Microwave Systems is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Senior Customer Support Engineer to provide end-to-end sales support, customer service, order management, and logistics coordination.
The ideal candidate will act as a key interface between customers, sales teams, operations, and finance, ensuring seamless order processing, timely deliveries, efficient communication, and high levels of customer satisfaction. Experience in manufacturing environments, ERP systems, logistics coordination, and accounts receivable management will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales Support
Provide comprehensive pre-sales and post-sales support to customers.
Coordinate closely with the Sales team to ensure efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders, deliveries, and service requests.
Support field sales teams with order status updates, shipment tracking, and customer communication.
Order Management & Logistics
Process customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
Coordinate invoicing, shipping, logistics, and delivery schedules.
Monitor order fulfillment activities to ensure on-time delivery.
Liaise with logistics providers and internal teams to resolve shipment-related issues.
Manage customer portal activities and maintain required documentation.
ERP & Process Management
Utilize ERP systems (preferably Oracle) for order processing, inventory tracking, invoicing, and reporting.
Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of customer records.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance operational efficiency.
Accounts Receivable & Reporting
Follow up on outstanding payments and manage accounts receivable activities.
Coordinate with customers and internal finance teams to ensure timely collections.
Prepare and analyze monthly sales reports and performance metrics.
Provide regular updates and business insights to management.
Compliance & Administration
Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and operational procedures.
Support day-to-day administrative activities related to customer service and sales operations.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
Desired Candidate Profile
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related discipline.
Additional qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or Customer Service will be an advantage.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in Customer Support, Sales Coordination, Customer Service, Sales Operations, or Order Management within a manufacturing environment.
Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle, Macola, SAP, or similar platforms.
Experience in logistics coordination, order fulfillment, and customer account management.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing, industrial products, electronics, or engineering industries.
Knowledge of logistics procedures and commercial business practices.
Exposure to customer portals and order management systems.
Experience in process automation and operational efficiency initiatives.
