About the Role

Safe Enterprises Retail Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Interior Designer (Estimator) to join our team in Navi Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have experience in interior design along with strong expertise in project costing, quantity estimation, budgeting, and BOQ preparation.

This role requires a combination of design knowledge and commercial understanding to ensure projects are aesthetically appealing, technically feasible, and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Planning

• Develop and revise interior design concepts based on client and project requirements.
• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and design documentation.
• Ensure design compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and industry best practices.

Estimation & Costing

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and project quotations.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and material calculations.
• Analyze project costs and support budget planning activities.
• Provide value engineering recommendations to optimize project costs without compromising quality.

Project Coordination

• Collaborate closely with design, production, procurement, and installation teams.
• Coordinate material selection, finishes, and specifications.
• Support installation activities and assist with final site adjustments when required.
• Monitor project requirements and ensure timely delivery of estimation and design outputs.

Material & Vendor Knowledge

• Maintain updated knowledge of materials, finishes, fittings, and market pricing.
• Assist in sourcing cost-effective materials and solutions for projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Interior Design.
• 1–2 years of experience in Interior Design with estimation and costing responsibilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and related design software.
• Strong understanding of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and project budgeting.
• Good knowledge of interior materials, finishes, fittings, and pricing structures.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in retail interiors, shop fittings, commercial interiors, or turnkey projects.
• Ability to balance design creativity with commercial feasibility.
• Strong analytical and cost-management mindset.
• Team player with a proactive approach to project execution.
