Job Title: B2B Sales Specialist – Freight Forwarding

Location: Naraina Vihar, New Delhi

Employment Type: Full-Time | On-site

CTC: ₹6–10 LPA

Reporting To: Senior Manager – Key Account Management (SME Retention & Growth)

Travel: Occasional travel across India for customer meetings and business development

Role Overview

Xportel is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented B2B Sales Executive with strong experience in Freight Forwarding Sales. The role is responsible for acquiring new SME customers, understanding their logistics requirements, and offering customized freight forwarding solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations, documentation, import-export processes, and logistics solutions while consistently achieving new business acquisition and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new B2B customers within the freight forwarding and logistics sector.
  • Understand customer logistics requirements and propose tailored freight forwarding solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition and account expansion.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize customer value and wallet share.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, pricing structures, and service offerings.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Pricing, Documentation, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
  • Manage sales pipelines, conversion metrics, and business opportunities through CRM systems.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, freight rates, and industry developments.
  • Represent the company at trade events, exhibitions, and customer meetings.
  • Travel as required for business development activities and customer engagement.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 3–6 years of B2B Sales experience in Freight Forwarding is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of Freight Forwarding Documentation, Export-Import Processes, and Logistics Operations.
  • Good knowledge of INCOTERMS, Customs Procedures, Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Cross-Border Logistics.
  • Proven track record of new business acquisition and target achievement.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience using CRM tools and sales pipeline management systems.
  • Self-driven, customer-focused, and target-oriented professional.
