Job Description

Job Position- Central Kitchen Production Head Chef

Location: Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Central Kitchen Production Head Chef to oversee production planning, recipe standardization, pre-mix preparation, and operational efficiency at our Central Kitchen facility.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily production activities, developing and maintaining pre-mixes, forecasting demand, planning production schedules, ensuring quality standards, and training outlet staff to maintain consistency across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

  • Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities within the Central Kitchen.
  • Ensure timely preparation and dispatch of products to retail outlets.
  • Monitor production efficiency, food quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Minimize wastage and optimize raw material utilization.

Pre-Mix Development & Standardization

  • Develop, standardize, and maintain food pre-mixes and recipes.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and product specifications across all outlets.
  • Conduct product trials and continuously improve recipes and processes.
  • Maintain recipe documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Forecasting & Production Planning

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly demand forecasts.
  • Develop production plans based on outlet requirements and sales trends.
  • Coordinate inventory and procurement requirements with relevant teams.
  • Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory.

Training & Team Development

  • Train outlet staff on product preparation, food handling, SOPs, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and refresher training programs at outlet locations.
  • Guide kitchen staff on production processes and best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols.

Quality & Compliance

  • Maintain food quality standards across production and outlet operations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement corrective actions where required.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a Production Chef, Central Kitchen Chef, Head Chef, or Kitchen Operations Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of pre-mix preparation, recipe standardization, and bulk food production.
  • Experience in production planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management.
  • Ability to train and mentor outlet kitchen teams.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in QSR, Bakery, Cafe, Cloud Kitchen, Restaurant Chain, or Food Manufacturing environments will be preferred.
