Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Manager- Sales Excellence
Location Bangalore
Offered CTC: 10 to 12 L fixed CTC PA.
Experience: 3-6 Years
Job Purpose
To support the implementation and smooth functioning of the Sales Automation system, ensure adherence to sales processes and field discipline, manage distributor lifecycle documentation, and assist in customer support operations through data tracking, reporting, and coordination with field teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Automation (SFA) Implementation & User Support
Support the rollout and implementation of the Sales Automation / SFA tool across the sales organization.
Provide day-to-day user support to ASMs, Sales Officers, and Salesmen for SFA-related issues.
Assist in conducting training sessions, refresher programs, and onboarding training for new users.
Track daily SFA usage, login activity, order booking, and reporting compliance.
Maintain SFA user master data and coordinate with the IT/SFA vendor for issue resolution.
Prepare weekly adoption reports and highlight gaps to the Sales Excellence Head.
2. Distributor Lifecycle Management
Support the process of distributor onboarding, addition, and deletion as per company SOPs.
Ensure proper documentation, data validation, and system configuration for new distributors.
Maintain distributor database and coordinate with regional teams for updates.
Conduct periodic checks to ensure distributor information accuracy in the system.
3. Sales Discipline & Field Execution Monitoring
Track key discipline parameters such as:
Market working hours
Beat / route adherence
Order booking frequency
Coverage compliance
Generate reports on call productivity, coverage %, and order conversion.
Coordinate with ASMs and RSMs to close discipline gaps and improve field efficiency.
Support periodic field productivity improvement initiatives.
4. Customer Support & Distributor Engagement
Support the customer success team handling distributor and consumer queries.
Monitor and track complaints, service requests, and escalation cases.
Ensure timely resolution of distributor complaints through coordination with internal teams.
Track service KPIs such as TAT, complaint closure rate, and CSAT.
5. Reporting & Data Analysis
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to:
SFA adoption and usage
Sales discipline metrics
Distributor lifecycle updates
Customer support performance
Assist in creating dashboards for leadership review.
Identify data trends and highlight improvement opportunities.

Desired Candidate Profile
3–6 years of experience in FMCG Sales Operations / Sales Excellence / Sales MIS / SFA support roles.
Exposure to Sales Automation / SFA / DMS systems is preferred.
Strong understanding of field sales operations and distributor processes.
Good analytical and reporting skills.
Proficiency in Excel, MIS reporting, and dashboard preparation.
Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
