Role: AI Operations Associate

Location: Kolkata (in-office, 6 days)

Reports to: Director

Qualification: Final-year student or graduate (0–2 years out) from an Engineering, Applied Math, Statistics, or Computer Science program.

Preferred institutions: IIEST Shibpur, Jadavpur (CSE/IT), NSEC, Presidency (Stats), IIM Calcutta (Data Science), or comparable.

Experience: 0–2 years post-graduation, or final-year students. Relevant project or internship work preferred over years of employment.

CTC: INR 4.5L–INR 8L per year, based on profile

Job Requirement

The role requires the following criteria:

• Comfortable in Python (pandas, basic SQL).
• Not a professional developer - able to learn fast and ship.
• Has used Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor for real work.
• Shows evidence of building something - a scraper, dashboard, app, bot, or Jupyter notebook that answered a real question.
• Low ego, high curiosity. Context-switches well across brands and domains.
• Strong written communication in English is essential.
• Kolkata-based or willing to relocate.
• This role doesn’t work remote.

In a typical week, you might:

• Build and maintain CRM analytics in Python — RFM segmentation, churn modelling, cohort retention, invoice-gap analysis on ~10 years of MySQL data
• Ship updates to ExpoScan, our mobile lead-capture app used at international trade shows (Host Milano, Ambiente, NRA Chicago)
• Run dashboards for LamiKraft, Infinique, and Tabillo across sales, quotations, and POs
• Help produce content across three brand LinkedIn accounts
• Sit in our weekly AI training cohort — Claude, Cursor, Claude in Excel, automation tooling
• Document every system you touch
• A 200-word note on a problem you’ve solved using AI tools - what was the problem, what did you build, what went wrong, what did you learn?
• One link — GitHub, portfolio, LinkedIn, Substack, anything that shows how you think.

• Design and operate a business analytics stack from scratch
• Ship production apps used by a real sales team
• Navigate international B2B export operations end-to-end
