Job Role

To lead and manage the entire spare parts department, ensuring optimum inventory levels, high fill rates, and seamless support to the service and body shop teams.

Key Requirements

• Experience: 8–10 years in an automotive dealership environment.
• Mandatory Expertise: Comprehensive management of end-to-end inventory operations specifically for Mahindra & Mahindra parts.
• OEM Compliance: Proven ability to implement and oversee Mahindra standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse management.

Job Description

• Inventory Control: Maintain 100% availability of fast-moving parts while keeping inventory lean for slow-moving items.
• Stock Management: Monitor and reduce "Dead Stock" through regular analysis and liquidation of aging inventory.
• Reporting: Maintain and analyze critical MIS reports, including Stock-out, Fill rate, and Inventory turnover.
• Supply Chain: Coordinate directly with the OEM (Mahindra) for timely indenting, supply, and procurement.
• Operations: Supervise the receipt, storage, and dispatch of parts to ensure zero discrepancies in the warehouse.
• Team Leadership: Lead and train a team of parts advisors and storekeepers while resolving claims or warranty issues.

Skill Set

• Systems: Expert knowledge of Mahindra & Mahindra parts systems and catalogs.
• Software: Strong command of Inventory Management Software and MS Excel.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership and negotiation skills.
• Technical: In-depth understanding of automotive technical components and supply chain logistics.
