Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer to develop innovative, market-relevant, and production-ready designs for our brands.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience in household products, wooden products, kitchenware, cotton bags, jute bags, or lifestyle accessories, with a strong understanding of design trends, materials, and manufacturing processes.

This role requires balancing creativity, functionality, aesthetics, and commercial viability while aligning with each brand’s identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative products aligned with brand identity and market demand
• Create product concepts, sketches, prototypes, and production-ready designs
• Work on household products, kitchenware, wooden products, cotton bags, jute bags, and lifestyle accessories
• Ensure product functionality, quality, usability, and visual appeal
• Research design trends, materials, colors, finishes, and consumer preferences
• Collaborate with sourcing, production, and marketing teams for product development
• Optimize designs for cost-effective manufacturing and scalability
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and production files
• Ensure designs meet quality standards and brand positioning
• Improve existing product lines with fresh design ideas and innovation
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor products, and global design aesthetics

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in Product Design / Industrial Design / Fashion Accessories Design / Related Field
• 4–5 years of experience in product design for household products, wooden products, bags, or consumer goods
• Strong creative mindset with excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, Rhino, or similar tools
• Understanding of materials such as wood, HPL, cotton, jute, fabric, and hardware accessories
• Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes
• Strong aesthetic sense with commercial design understanding
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Must be based in Kolkata
