Envizom is Oizom’s core software platform that powers device data ingestion, analytics, alerts, reporting, and integrations—deployed both as a global cloud SaaS and as private/local deployments for regulated customers.

Role Summary

We are looking for an Envizom Platform Manager to own platform operations, reliability, releases, and customer deployments across:

• Envizom Cloud (Global SaaS) – multi-tenant, continuously evolving
• Envizom Local Deployments – customer-specific on-prem/private cloud instances with controlled updates and stricter governance

This role bridges product operations, engineering execution, DevOps reliability, security posture, and deployment governance.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Operations & Reliability

• Monitor uptime, latency, ingestion gaps, and service reliability
• Manage incident response, escalation workflows, and postmortems
• Ensure backups, restores, database maintenance, and cost optimization

Release & Change Management

• Manage release cycles for cloud platform with staged rollouts and rollback planning
• Maintain version control discipline across services and ensure release traceability

Deployment Execution (Cloud & On-Prem)

• Execute and validate deployments with customer IT/OT teams
• Ensure on-prem deployments are packaged, documented, repeatable, and upgrade-ready

Integrations & Data Pipelines

• Manage inbound data pipelines (MQTT / HTTPS / APIs) and outbound integrations (reports, dashboards, exports)
• Ensure reliable data flow across devices, cloud, and customer systems

Eligibility & Requirements

Education

• B.Tech / B.E / M.E in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Experience

• 3–5 years in platform operations, SaaS deployments, DevOps, SRE, or enterprise software delivery
• Experience managing both cloud SaaS and on-prem/private deployments

Must-Have Skills

• Strong understanding of backend systems, APIs, distributed systems, and reliability engineering principles
• Hands-on knowledge of Docker and containerized deployments
• Linux system administration and networking fundamentals
• Understanding of reverse proxies (NGINX), TLS, and secure communication
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Understanding of time-series data storage concepts (InfluxDB-like systems)
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (logs, metrics, traces)
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with IoT data pipelines (MQTT brokers, device telemetry systems)
• Understanding of RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and audit logging
• Experience with regulated environments (data residency, privacy, compliance requirements)
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure and hybrid deployments
