Position: Operations & Procurement Manager

Reporting To: Business Unit Head

Location: Bhopal MP

Compensation: 60K

Position Overview:

The Operations & Procurement Manager will oversee the end-to-end supply chain, production, and procurement to ensure efficiency, cost optimization and quality compliance in the food processing unit. This role requires expertise in raw material sourcing, vendor management, production planning, inventory control and regulatory compliance to drive seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement & Supply Chain Management
    • Develop and manage a cost-effective procurement strategy for raw materials and packaging.
    • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring quality and timely deliveries.
    • Optimize inventory levels to balance demand and minimize wastage.
  • Production & Operations Management
    • Oversee production planning, process optimization, and capacity utilization.
    • Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency.
    • Ensure compliance with FSSAI, ISO and food safety standards.
  • Logistics & Distribution Efficiency
    • Streamline warehouse, logistics, and transportation to ensure timely product delivery.
    • Optimize cost control measures across the supply chain.
  • Quality & Compliance
    • Ensure all procurement and operations meet regulatory and quality standards.
    • Conduct regular audits and vendor evaluations for quality assurance.
  • Team Leadership & Cost Optimization
    • Lead and mentor operations, procurement, and supply chain teams.
    • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Graduate/ MBA in Supply Chain, Operations
  • Experience: 5+ years in food processing, procurement, and operations management.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain optimization, vendor negotiation, and regulatory compliance.
