Job Description

Job Title: Area Sales Manager / Senior Sales Officer

Location: Bengaluru - Karnataka, Kochi – Kerala

Experience: 3 to 8 Years

Salary: 30,000 to 50,000 per Month

Key Responsibilities:

Distributor Management & Expansion
Identify and appoint new distributors to ensure full coverage of the assigned state.
Onboard new stores and regional Modern Trade (MT) chains, managing the entire listing and shelf-share process.
Monitor distributor health, including stock levels, ROI, and service efficiency.
Sales Execution & Operations
Deliver on both Primary and Secondary sales targets monthly and quarterly.
Drive secondary sales effectively.
Manage payment collections from distributors and retail chains as per company credit terms.
Market Monitoring
Track competitor activities and market trends to provide feedback for trade schemes.
Maintain regular reporting via SFA tools or daily activity reports (DAR).

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Bracket: ₹30,000 to ₹50,000 per month (based on experience and interview performance).
Incentives: Performance-linked variable incentives (monthly/quarterly) for achieving sales and onboarding targets.
Allowances: Separate TA-DA (Travel & Daily Allowance) for field visits as per company policy, ensuring all travel expenses are covered beyond the base salary.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Graduate/ MBA Sales, Marketing.
Experience: 3-8 years in FMCG/ specifically handling both GT and MT channels
Skills: Strong negotiation for onboarding chains and distributor recruitment.

Language Requirements:

Karnataka: Fluency in Kannada, English/Hindi.
Kerala: Fluency in Malayalam, English, and Hindi
