Job Description

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Chennai

Experience Required: 1 - 3 Years

Salary: ₹20,000 - ₹30,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities including bookkeeping, tax filing, and financial assessments. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, statutory compliance, and financial record management.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and financial transactions.
Handle day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries and ledger management.
Prepare and manage financial statements and reports.
Assist with tax assessments and compliance requirements.
Manage and file GST, TDS, and other tax returns as applicable.
Ensure timely tax filing and statutory compliance.
Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
Maintain proper documentation and financial records for audits.
Coordinate with auditors and internal teams when required.

Eligibility Criteria

Experience: 1 – 3 years in accounting or finance roles.
Qualification: M.Com or any relevant accounting qualification.
Preference: Candidates pursuing or having CA Inter / CMA Inter will be given preference.
Basic knowledge of taxation and accounting standards.
