Position: Business Development Manager

Location: Ahmedabad

Experience: 4-6 Years

Salary: 50k - 60k

Position Overview

The Business Development Manager is responsible for the effective management of Business Development, Sales, and Marketing functions. The role focuses on revenue growth, market expansion, customer relationship management, and supporting the achievement of organizational sales targets. The position operates as an integral member of the CIPL team and contributes directly to the company’s strategic objectives.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new customers and business opportunities.
  • Drive targeted sales growth through new market development initiatives.
  • Generate and convert new business leads.
  • Support the sales team in achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Develop, maintain, and strengthen long-term customer relationships.
  • Ensure optimal levels of customer service, including coordination of product/service supply.
  • Escalate customer concerns and grievances to management promptly.
  • Manage post-sales debtor follow-ups and ensure timely collections.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.
  • Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and contract discussions.
  • Travel as required to support business development activities.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as required to support the company’s operational and strategic goals.

Required Competencies & Technical Proficiency

  • Strong understanding of Sales & Marketing principles.
  • Proven experience in Business Development within a similar industry.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems relevant to the industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and digital communication platforms.
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare structured business presentations.
