About the Company:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Administrator (L3) with deep expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Red Hat Satellite to manage and optimize enterprise-level infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L3-level support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments, ensuring quick resolution of complex and critical incidents.
• Manage Red Hat Satellite for patch management, lifecycle management, provisioning, subscription handling, and capsule configuration.
• Lead OS upgrades, kernel patching, and system performance optimization activities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced issues across OS, networking, storage, and application layers.
• Implement system hardening and ensure compliance with security standards (SELinux, CIS/STIG benchmarks, auditd).
• Configure and support RHEL clustering and high availability (Pacemaker, Corosync, PCS clusters).
• Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, and Ansible to streamline operational processes.
• Collaborate with L1/L2 teams, mentor junior administrators, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Participate actively in incident, change, and problem management processes in line with ITIL standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in RHEL/Linux administration.
• Expert-level proficiency in Red Hat Satellite (patch automation, content views, provisioning, and lifecycle management).
• Strong troubleshooting experience in kernel, filesystem, and networking issues.
• Proficiency in LVM, NFS, iSCSI, bonding/teaming, firewalld, SELinux.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (KVM, VMware) and exposure to cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Working knowledge of ITIL-based processes (Incident, Change, and Problem Management).

Good to Have:

• Experience with OpenShift, Ansible, or other Red Hat ecosystem tools.

Qualification:

• B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Mandatory Certifications:
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
• Red Hat Certified Specialist in Satellite
• RHEL 9 (Latest Version)
