About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant to independently manage statutory audit engagements. The role offers end-to-end ownership of audits, direct interaction with Partners and senior client management, and opportunities to contribute to audit quality, risk management, and firm-level initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute statutory audits in compliance with Standards on Auditing (SA), IND AS, and Accounting Standards
• Manage audits end-to-end—from audit planning to Audit Committee presentation
• Prepare audit reports, management letters, issue sheets, and complete audit documentation
• Perform risk assessment and ensure compliance with firm audit methodology and APGM requirements
• Review work of audit managers, seniors, and articles; resolve audit issues and provide guidance
• Liaise with clients, senior management (MDs, VPs), and Partners
• Ensure documentation compliance (hard & soft files) within 30 days of audit report signing
• Track, interpret, and circulate regulatory updates, notifications, and amendments to major Acts
• Ensure audit quality, value addition, and achievement of Partner-defined targets
• Manage audit resources, approve daily diaries, and conduct training/seminars
• Participate in firm-level initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

Eligibility & Skills

• Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory
• Experience: 2–5 years of post-qualification experience in statutory audits (freshers not eligible)
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of SA, IND AS, Accounting Standards, and regulatory compliance
• Industry Exposure: Manufacturing and/or Service/IT sector preferred
• Certifications: CISA / DISA – added advantage
• Core Competencies: Strong analytical skills, effective communication, leadership mindset, and attention to detail
