Job Title: Quality Manager – E-commerce / D2C (Baby & Toys) – Kidsmate

Location: Ludhiana

Salary: Up to ₹4,80,000 per annum (based on experience & skills)

 Role Summary

We are looking for a Quality Manager who will take complete ownership of product quality, customer feedback, and issue resolution across our D2C and online marketplaces.

The ideal person is hands-on, detail-oriented, and has experience in baby products / kids toys / infant care categories.

Key Responsibilities

1) Customer Review & Feedback Monitoring

• Daily track reviews/ratings
• Identify repeated complaints like:
• Breakage, missing parts, smell, colour mismatch, size issues, packaging damage, safety concerns

2) Quality Issue Investigation + Root Cause

• Do sampling checks from stock
• Coordinate with production/vendor to fix recurring quality gaps
• Make CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Action) plan and track closure

3) Resolution & Closure (Super Important)

• Handle online escalations and coordinate with:
• Customer support / operations / warehouse / suppliers
• Ensure:
• Replacement/refund cases are closed smoothly
• Defect stock is blocked/isolated immediately

4) Vendor & Incoming Quality Checks

• Incoming inspection checklist
• Packaging/printing/label accuracy checks
• Ensure products meet baby safety and durability standards

5) Reporting & Dashboards

• Weekly report on:
• Top 5 recurring issues
• Return reasons trend
• Review rating improvement plan
• Vendor performance & defect %

Required Skills / Experience

• 2–5 years’ experience in Quality / Product category management (preferably)
• Must have experience in Baby / Infant products / Toys / Kids essentials

Strong knowledge of:

• returns/complaints reasons
• quality checkpoints + batch checking
• packaging correctness & safety basics
• Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets
• Good communication for coordination with support + vendors

 Preferred

• Experience handling marketplace quality complaints (Amazon/Flipkart cases)
• Knowledge of toy safety basics / choking hazard awareness
• Experience with vendor audits / inspection process
