Job Title: Head of Quality - Hand Moulding Foundry
Location: Bhiwadi, Rajasthan
Company Overview:
Leading foundry specializing in heavy hand moulding of CI/SGI and Steel components. The facility produces approximately 400 tons of CI/SGI and 100 tons of Steel, with single-piece weights ranging from 500 kg to 8000 kg.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Head of Quality to lead and manage quality operations in our hand moulding foundry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy casting quality assurance and a proven track record of handling large-scale foundry operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all aspects of quality control and assurance for heavy hand-moulded castings.
Review and ensure compliance with dimensional layouts and casting specifications.
Conduct and supervise NDT inspections and other quality tests.
Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies and secure customer approvals for products.
Implement and monitor quality improvement programs across production processes.
Lead and mentor the quality team to maintain high standards.
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 15–20 years of experience in foundry operations, with at least 5 years as Head of Quality in a similar heavy hand moulding foundry.
Proven experience with CI/SGI and Steel casting quality processes.
Strong understanding of dimensional layouts, NDT inspection, and customer approval processes.
Minimum age: 45 years.
Willingness to relocate to Bhiwadi, Rajasthan.
Technical Requirements:
Proficient in dimensional inspection and layout checks.
