About the Company
DreamGreen Technologies (DG) is a Pune-based startup focused on developing innovative solutions in the green energy and renewable domain. DG is currently exploring a Joint Venture with a European company in the water treatment sector, and this role will be a key leadership position in the newly formed entity.
Role Overview
The Head of Sales will be responsible for launching, establishing, and scaling the new JV’s water treatment business in India. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical understanding, strategic thinking, and direct sales execution.
Key Responsibilities
Introduce the JV entity and its water treatment products/solutions into the Indian market
Develop and execute market entry, growth, and establishment strategies
Identify and map key stakeholders, organizations, and decision-makers
Lead sales and business development activities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders
Drive product and solution development by engaging with customers to understand requirements and customize offerings
Collaborate closely with internal and JV partner teams to align strategy and execution
Location & Travel
Base location: Pune
On-site work required
Travel to customer locations as needed
Compensation
Compensation as per industry standards for new entities
Mix of fixed salary and stock options / equity
Candidate Profile
8–12 years of experience in the water treatment domain
Strong technical understanding of water treatment systems and solutions
Ability to work independently or within a small, fast-moving team
Self-driven, proactive, and growth-oriented mindset
Fluent in English and Hindi (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus
Well-presented and confident in client-facing situations
Highly motivated to exceed targets and build a business from the ground up
