Job Title: Video Editor – Wedding Films (Narrative / Documentary Style)

Twogether Studios is one of India’s leading luxury wedding photography and filmmaking studios, known for its contemporary, story-first approach to wedding films. With over 600 weddings filmed worldwide, our work focuses on emotion, realism, and narrative depth rather than formula-driven or traditional wedding edits.

Role Overview

We are looking for a backend Video Editor with a strong journalistic or documentary-style editing sensibility to craft long-form wedding feature films and short films.

This role is purely post-production and does not involve shooting. The ideal candidate enjoys building narratives from real moments, conversations, and emotions, and is excited to work on modern, cinematic wedding content that goes beyond conventional formats.

This role is not suited for editors from traditional TV, broadcast, or news backgrounds who are accustomed to linear, voiceover-heavy, or rigid storytelling formats.

Key Responsibilities

Edit wedding feature films and short-form films using a story-led, documentary approach
Build strong narratives using real dialogue, ambient audio, reactions, and authentic moments
Shape long timelines into emotionally engaging, well-paced films
Collaborate closely with filmmakers and creative leads to refine storytelling intent
Organize, sync, and manage large volumes of footage efficiently
Perform basic color correction and work within established grading workflows
Incorporate creative feedback and iterate edits within defined timelines
Maintain clean project organization and follow studio post-production standards

Who This Role Is For

Must-Have Qualifications

3+ years of professional editing experience in wedding films, documentaries, branded content, or other narrative-driven formats
Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro
Solid understanding of story structure, pacing, and emotional beats
Strong knowledge of music selection, music cutting, and beat matching
Ability to work full-time from the office in Gurgaon
Experience with Tier A wedding studios (preferred but not mandatory)
