Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to oversee end-to-end procurement operations, vendor management, and cost optimization for HVAC systems and components. The role requires strong expertise in sourcing, supplier development, and inventory control to support manufacturing and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, RFQs, negotiations, and purchase order execution.
- Ensure timely availability of materials required for manufacturing and projects.
Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, develop, and onboard new vendors.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely deliveries.
- Conduct vendor performance reviews and audits.
HVAC Materials Expertise
- Handle procurement of components related to Central Air Conditioning systems, including mechanical, electrical, and HVAC accessories.
Cost Control & Negotiation
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules.
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and project teams for demand planning.
Market Analysis & Compliance
- Analyze market trends, supplier pricing, and availability.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and statutory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8–10 years of experience in procurement or purchase management.
- Strong exposure to HVAC systems or related manufacturing industries.
- Educational background: DME / BE / ME (Mechanical or relevant discipline).
