Job Overview
Brainware University is seeking a senior, student-focused professional to lead its Training & Employability Skills Division. This role is central to shaping the career readiness, confidence, and professional capability of students across disciplines.
Employability at Brainware is treated as a structured, continuous process rather than a final-semester activity. The Head – Training & Employability Skills will design and drive this process, integrating classroom learning, skill development, industry exposure, and modern training methodologies, including the effective use of AI-based tools.
Key Responsibilities
- The incumbent will lead and deliver structured training in communication skills, personality development, interview preparation, and workplace readiness for placement drives.
- The role includes designing and conducting workshops on soft skills, aptitude, group discussions, professional etiquette, and career preparedness.
- The position requires close coordination with academic departments to plan training calendars, guest lectures, and industry-led sessions.
- Managing and strengthening internship programs in collaboration with faculty and corporate partners is a key responsibility.
- The role also involves building and sustaining relationships with recruiters, corporates, and external training partners to enhance placement and employability outcomes.
- The Head will track student progress, assess training impact, and provide actionable feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintaining structured records and reports related to training modules, placement statistics, and skill-development outcomes is essential, with an emphasis on data-driven decision-making.
- The role additionally requires effective use of AI tools for training design, mock interviews, communication enhancement, aptitude practice, resume optimization, student assessment, and outcome tracking.
Educational Qualifications
- Master’s degree in any discipline is preferred
- Strong academic and professional background in training or employability development
Experience Requirements
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in pre-placement training, employability enhancement, corporate training, L&D, or placement-related roles
- Experience in academic institutions, corporate environments, or a combination of both
Skills and Competencies
- Proven ability to plan and execute large-scale employability and skill-development programs
- Strong understanding of industry expectations, placement trends, and job-readiness frameworks
- Working knowledge of AI tools used for training delivery, assessment, communication improvement, and career-readiness support
- Leadership and team management skills involving trainers, faculty collaborators, and external partners
- Capability to design structured curricula covering soft skills, aptitude, technical readiness, and career development
- Strong corporate engagement and employer relationship management skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder coordination abilities
- Ability to assess outcomes, analyze data, and report training effectiveness
Salary and Benefits
- Salary range: ₹70,000 – ₹1,20,000 per month, based on experience and expertise
