Brainware University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, including specializations in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science & Cyber Security. This role is suited for an academic who takes teaching seriously, pursues research with intent, and is keen to contribute to the University’s growing academic and research ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
The selected faculty member will deliver structured and engaging classroom teaching along with hands-on practical sessions.
They will mentor students in academics, projects, and early-stage research, while contributing to the University’s research output through quality publications and participation in national and international conferences.
The role also involves close collaboration with colleagues on departmental and interdisciplinary initiatives, regular updating of course content in line with emerging technologies, and active participation in strengthening the University’s culture of academic rigor and innovation.
Educational Qualifications (Mandatory)
Ph.D. (Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering or a closely related discipline
Consistent academic record, with a minimum of 60% marks preferred throughout
Experience
Fresh Ph.D. holders are encouraged to apply
Prior teaching or research experience will be considered an advantage but is not mandatory
Skills and Competencies
Demonstrated research orientation with publications in reputed journals or conferences
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to guide, motivate, and mentor students
Commitment to academic quality, ethical practice, and inclusive learning

Salary Structure
The salary will be offered as per University norms, based on qualifications and experience:
Freshers with full-time Ph.D. (Ph.D. duration considered as 1–3 years): ₹68,000 – ₹72,000 per month
1 year post-Ph.D. experience (1 year experience + 3 years Ph.D.): ₹73,430 per month
2 years post-Ph.D. experience (2 years experience + 3 years Ph.D.): ₹74,814 per month
3 years post-Ph.D. experience (3 years experience + 3 years Ph.D.): ₹76,239 per month
