Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Export Business
Location: Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo
Compensation: USD 3000–4000 per month
Contract Duration: 3 Years (Extendable)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of our export business headquartered in Kinshasa. The company specializes in exporting a diverse range of goods from China and distributing them across the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
The CFO will be responsible for financial planning, risk management, compliance, audits, budgeting, and overall financial governance to ensure sustainable business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Leadership
Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and leadership team for strategic decision-making.
Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team to drive efficiency and high performance.
Financial Operations Management
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting with accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Manage cash flow, working capital, capital allocation, and investment planning.
Monitor and control operational costs to ensure financial efficiency across the export supply chain.
Compliance, Audit & Risk Management
Supervise internal and external audits, tax filings, and ensure compliance with local & international financial regulations.
Implement robust risk management frameworks covering foreign exchange exposure, credit risk, and operational risks.
Ensure adherence to international trade finance regulations, export–import guidelines, and shipping finance standards.
Stakeholder & Institutional Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
Oversee financial documentation required for export, logistics, and international trade transactions.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Chartered Accountant (CA – ICAI, India) is mandatory
MBA in Finance or equivalent (CPA/ACCA/CIMA) is an added advantage
Experience:
8 to 15 years of progressive experience in financial management
Preferably in export-import, logistics, distribution, or shipping-based businesses
Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of international trade finance, shipping logistics, and cross-border financial compliance
