We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Pathologist to join our tertiary care laboratory. The role involves overseeing laboratory operations, interpreting diagnostic tests, and ensuring high standards of accuracy and quality across all in-house investigations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and interpret diagnostic tests across hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and histopathology as applicable.
Supervise daily functioning of a tertiary care lab equipped with comprehensive in-house technology and equipment.
Ensure accuracy, reliability, and timely reporting of results.
Review and validate laboratory reports before release.
Maintain quality control and participate in internal and external quality assurance programs.
Guide lab technicians and support staff in proper procedures and protocols.
Collaborate with clinicians for correlation of clinical and laboratory findings.
Ensure compliance with NABL / relevant accreditation standards.
Qualifications
MD / DNB in Pathology (or equivalent).
Valid registration with relevant medical council.
Experience in a tertiary care setup is preferred, though freshers may apply.
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and diagnostic interpretation skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with modern automated lab equipment and systems.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Commitment to maintaining high laboratory standards.
