BBFS is the largest football training program having trained over 20,000 players in the last decade through 50+ non-residential and 5 residential academies across the country. BBFS has India’s largest pool of qualified coaches and has pioneered in training and developing India’s finest young professional coaches.
Role:
The Business Coach will be working on a wide spectrum of activities and initiatives which are designed to augment the development of the organization. He/she will be responsible for complete budgeting, revenue and operations management for all BBFS Training Centers in the allocated zones. The position requires the person to demonstrate leadership qualities, manage operations across multiple centers in a planned manner, develop relationships with coaches / center heads / partners and take it upon themselves to maintain the overall quality of activities as per BBFS standards.
The key responsibility of coaching your business team (Center Heads and Sales team members) both through structured and scheduled sessions and on the job training, in order to enable them to perform their responsibilities in the most effective manner and help them grow personally and professionally, will be primarily yours. In addition, he will be required to stay flexible, adaptable and available to take on other tasks or duties as requested by the Senior Management. A candidate may be required to relocate for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Business Coach are broadly divided into the following sections:
Regular Center Operations & Relationship:
The Business Coach will be overseeing all the operations and ensuring smooth functioning of regular centers and maintaining continuous relationships:
Ensure continuous relationship and engagement with the partners
Identify and develop a network with other clubs, academies, schools in the zone
Enhance capacity utilisation of facilities and coaching staff
Ensure healthy participation from the zone in all events planned by BBFS such as trips, leagues
Develop a pipeline of quality coaches and ensure adherence to optimum standards of coaching in collaboration with the technical team
Strategize and implement best practices aimed towards student retention
Ensure process compliance against key operational guidelines
People Development:
The Business Coach will be responsible for people development and ensuring all personnel follow operational guidelines:
Train, develop and ensure Center heads have the capability to independently execute responsibilities
Coordinate with the Technical team to deliver quality coaching
Facilitate culture of continuous learning by scheduling and conducting regular training sessions for the team
Potential / New Center Initiation:
The Business Coach will be responsible for expanding the business via new center additions. He will be in charge of sourcing, identifying and opening new centers alongside nurturing them through the launch and subsequent growth and profitability
Source and identify potential new centers
Resource planning for new centers
Efficient marketing to ensure critical mass in center from start
Ensure completion of all pre - launch operations as per the Center opening handbook
Revenue:
The Business Coach will be the owner of the revenue flow:
Prepare the yearly, quarterly and monthly revenue projections and set the revenue Target for the centers and the region
Plan initiatives that help the teams to achieve their revenue target and ensure proper execution of the initiatives
Track, analyze and guide the team to achieve the revenue targets through a data driven approach
Budget:
The Business Coach will be the owner of the overall budget:
Prepare the yearly, quarterly and monthly budget
Ensure the expenses are managed to maintain a positive cash flow and profitability on a monthly basis
Preferred Skills:
4-6 years’ of continuous work experience across business verticals
Experienced in leading team of at least 6 people (team-lead experience required)
Good to have 2 years of experience in customer handling in sales and customer acquisition/retention
Must have at least 2 years of experience in business development and operations (financial operations or business operations like inventory, P&L management etc)
Passion for Start - ups / setting up businesses / Sports (preferred but not necessary)
Excellent relationship-building and mentoring skills (background in mentoring individuals preferred)
