Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Work Shift/ Timings: 09:00AM to 05:00PM
Travel Required: Work Based Travel
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years
Salary: 3 to 6 LPA

Job Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and oversee Sales within our Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) division. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring seamless project execution while maintaining strong client relationships & sales in Tamil Nadu.
The ASM will be responsible for achieving revenue targets, enhancing market penetration and fostering long-term partnerships, contributing to the overall success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
Identify new business opportunities and develop a strong customer base for PEB Structures.
Achieve and exceed sales targets for the assigned territory.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Promote and sell hot rolled steel products to Dealers, fabricators, and end-users.
Ensure proper negotiation of prices and payment terms while maintaining profitability.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Provide technical guidance to customers regarding product specifications and applications.
Address customer queries, complaints, and concerns effectively.
Ensure timely follow-ups for order processing and delivery.
Order Management & Coordination
Coordinate with internal teams (production, logistics, finance) to ensure timely order execution and delivery.
Monitor stock levels and ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Track pending orders and payments while maintaining customer accounts.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
Monitor competitor pricing, strategies, and market trends.
Provide periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management.
Suggest strategies for improving market share and sales performance.
Desired Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering.
Masters in Management / Engineering preferred.
Desired Work Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of Minimum experience in sales in the construction, manufacturing, or pre- engineered building industry.
Strong knowledge of steel grades, specifications, and applications.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
Special Mentions
Communication: Local language Tamil is a must & have basic proficiency in English.
Interpersonal Abilities: Solid communication and interpersonal skills. A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus.
Strong knowledge of Indian business laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with procurement software.
Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the PEB sector.
Strong understanding of Pre-Engineered Building solutions, technical aspects, and project execution.
