HR Manager Screening Questions

Job Description

Objective :   To oversee and manage the Human Resources and Industrial Relations functions of the manufacturing plant, ensuring compliance with labour laws, maintaining a harmonious work environment, and supporting the strategic objectives of the organization.

Department: Human Resources

Location: Faridabad

Experience: 10-15 Years in HR & IR, preferably in a manufacturing setup

Salary: Upto 10 LPA

Qualification: MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent, knowledge of labour laws mandatory

Report to: Managing Director and Director

 

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources (HR):

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems aligned with company goals.
  • Manage recruitment and on boarding of workers, staff, and management employees.
  • Oversee performance management, training & development, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure statutory compliance related to PF, ESI, gratuity, bonus, minimum wages, etc.
  • Maintain HR MIS, attendance, payroll processing, and personnel records.
  • Drive employee welfare programs and workplace culture initiatives.
  • Support organizational development and change management initiatives.

 

Industrial Relations (IR):

  • Maintain peaceful and productive industrial relations with workers and unions.
  • Handle disciplinary actions, domestic inquiries, and grievance redressal.
  • Liaison with labour departments, government agencies, and legal consultants.
  • Negotiate and implement wage settlements and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, Industrial Disputes Act, and other labour laws.
  • Monitor contract labour management and compliance of third-party vendors.

  • Strong knowledge of labour laws and industrial regulations
