Job Overview:
As a Sales Executive on the Alibaba Sales Team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring and managing business clients on Alibaba platforms. You will serve as a trusted advisor to merchants, manufacturers, or retailers, helping them leverage Alibaba’s digital ecosystem to expand their global reach and increase sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and acquire new business customers (B2B/B2C), onboarding them to Alibaba platforms. Promote Alibaba’s product and service offerings, including advertising
Promote Alibaba’s product and Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer success and retention.
Promote Alibaba’s product and service offerings, including advertising solutions, logistics, and digital tools.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through strategic planning and client engagement.
Conduct market research to identify potential business sectors and understand client needs.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, logistics, product) to deliver tailored solutions.
Deliver presentations, product demos, and proposals to prospective clients.
Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis to internal stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive landscape.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development (preferably in tech, e-commerce, or international trade).
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and cross-border trade is a plus.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin or another language is an advantage (depending on region).
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales automation software.
