Job Title: HR Head
Department: Human Resources Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Managing Director Location: 413A, Sector 68A, HSIIDC, IMT Faridabad
Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Job Summary:
The Head of Human Resources is responsible for leading the strategic and operational functions of the HR department. This role ensures the effective delivery of HR services including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance. The HR Head acts as a key advisor to senior leadership, fostering a positive organizational culture aligned with company goals and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s vision, mission, and goals.
Partner with senior leadership to drive organizational change, culture development, and workforce planning.
Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
Talent Management:
Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.
Design and manage performance appraisal systems.
Identify and address training needs through learning and development programs.
Employee Relations & Culture:
Promote a high-performance culture by coaching managers and supporting employee development.
Handle complex employee relations issues and support conflict resolution efforts.
Lead engagement surveys and develop action plans based on feedback.
Compensation & Benefits:
Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits structures.
Conduct benchmarking and ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal policies.
Mitigate legal risks and support internal audits.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
HR Operations & Systems:
Oversee HRIS and other technology systems.
Analyse HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
Track and manage all types of employee leaves (sick leave, casual leave, earned leave, etc.) through the company’s HR application/system.
Review and approve/reject leave requests in accordance with company policy.
Ensure accurate leave balances are maintained and communicated to employees.
2. Employee Data Management
Maintain up-to-date records of employee details (e.g., contact information, joining date, job title, salary, department).
Regularly update HR software or app with new hires, exits, promotions, leaves and role changes.
Ensure the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of employee data in compliance with company policy and data protection laws.
Assist employees in accessing or updating their records via the HR app or portal.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute at an operational level.
