Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase market share and revenue for our plywood products. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and leading efforts to expand our presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends in the plywood industry.
Analyse competitor activities and market conditions to inform strategic decisions.
Business Development:
Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
Identify and target potential clients, including builders, contractors, wholesalers, and distributors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
Drive sales efforts and manage the sales pipeline to achieve revenue goals.
Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals with clients.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Client Relationship Management:
Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction.
Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and follow up on project progress.
Product Knowledge and Promotion:
Stay updated on industry trends, product innovations, and technical specifications of plywood products.
Promote the company’s products and services through presentations, trade shows, and industry events.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and market research findings.
Prepare regular reports and forecasts for management review.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A degree in a field related to forestry, wood science, or construction is a plus.
Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the plywood or wood products industry, tiles, Paints, Lights.
Strong understanding of the plywood market, including key players, trends, and customer needs.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with strategic planning and implementation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
CTC Ranges: Up to 60k (Depending upon your last withdrawn and skill sets) Experience: 4-8 Years Location: F213C, Old MB Road, Lado Sarai, New Delhi-110030 Working Days & Timings: Monday to Saturday & 10:00 am to 07:00 pm
