Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Location: New Delhi

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Generalist to manage and execute daily HR functions within our firm. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of HR practices, particularly within the legal sector, and will be adept at handling recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. Key

Responsibilities:

• Recruitment and Onboarding:

     o Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
     o Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
     o Conduct new employee orientations and facilitate seamless onboarding processes.

• Employee Relations and Performance Management:

     o Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, fostering a positive work environment.
     o Implement and oversee performance appraisal systems, providing guidance to managers and staff.
     o Address and resolve employee grievances and disciplinary issues in accordance with company policies.

• Policy Development and Compliance:

     o Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with legal standards.
     o Maintain compliance with local labor laws and regulations, keeping abreast of any legislative changes.
     o Conduct regular audits of HR practices and records to ensure ongoing compliance.

• Training and Development:

     o Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs for employees.
     o Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.

• Compensation and Benefits Administration:

     o Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
     o Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
     o Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation structures.

Qualifications:

•  Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
•  Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
•  Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR best practices.
•  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•  Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
•  Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
•  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
