Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Sales and Application Engineer to make new clients in research labs & institutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Field sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex institutions.
Responsibilities:
- Visit research labs, institutions & universities to promote products/services
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., scientists, researchers, procurement managers)
- Expertise in Field sales, Direct Sales and Client engagement.
- Conduct product demos, presentations, and training sessions
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
- Manage and grow existing accounts
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, customer service)
Requirements:
- 0-5 years of field sales experience preferably in visiting medical/research institutions
- Proven/confident track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of medical/research institutions' needs and purchasing processes
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Chemical engineering or related field
Nice to Have:
- Experience with electrical equipment, lab equipments medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or related products
- Knowledge of research institutions' funding mechanisms and grant processes
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
Salary will be decided as per experience.
Budget: upto 7 lpa.
Only candidates on the higher end of experience will be eligible for the higher end of the package
