• Create automation tests to ensure the stability and performance of our products including integration and functionality
• Work closely with developers and product owners to ensure we are building and testing the right things
• Encourage a team culture of learning and organize knowledge sharing sessions to promote continuous learning and collaboration across teams
• Attend daily SCRUM meetings, sprint demos, etc.
• Make each day count: Identify repetitive manual tasks and find solutions to automate them
• Participate in technical meetings and actively contribute ideas
• Set and uphold pull request standards, and conduct comprehensive reviews to maintain code quality and best practices
• Adhere to SOLID and DRY principles in coding and automation to enhance code quality, maintainability and scalability

What You Need:

• 8 plus Years of expertise in creating robust, reliable, and reusable automation scripts for Web and API Applications using Playwrigt, TypeScript, Pyonth, Pytest as preferred tools.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, we use Github Actions, ArgoCD but practical experience with other tools will work (example : Jenkins, Gitlab, AWS CodePipelines)
• Expertise in using XPath, CSS, and all various types of Playwright locators including locators to navigate shadow DOMs, frames, tooltips.
• Linux command line experience and scripting language experience
• Experience with version control (we use Git)
• Has created unit and integration tests
• Worked on product teams delivering features

What Will Make You Stand Out:

• Experience with Playwright, Typescript, Python, Pytest
• Experience with Locust or other load testing tools
• Experience working with Electron Desktop automation
• Experience in CLI (Command Line Interface) automation across Windows, Linux, and Mac
• Expertise in API testing with Python (Pytest), Postman with JavaScript, and CLI tools like Newman
• Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools and AWS
• Contributed to open source. Bonus if you are a maintainer of an open-source project
• Container experience (Docker)
• Strong knowledge of Agile or Scrum development methodologies
• Build automated testing practice from scratch
• Startup experience
