Area Sales Executive Screening Questions

Job Description

Role Summary:

This is a hard-core sales role. Candidates are expected to contact prospects, prepare proposals/ offerings and close deals. Services to be sold are IT equipment maintenance support, IT Facility Management Services, Remote administration of in-premise or cloud servers, IT Hardware products.

Responsibilities:

• Own sales targets
• Establish contact with prospects and make cold calls
• Follow up on leads, set up meetings of prospects with Cybix senior management
• Prepare proposals, solutions
• Negotiate with prospects and close deals
• Regular meetings with customers to take feedback on delivery performance
• Engage with delivery team to provide feedback obtained from customer
• Ensure invoicing is done on time and payments collected from customers

Required Skills:

•  Mandatory
    o Excellent communication abilities – both verbal and written
    o Ability to build business relationships
    o Ability to identify prospects and target them with focused presentations
    o Ability to identify customer priority areas and propose solutions accordingly
    o Excellent skills on using MS-Office suite – PowerPoint, Word, Excel o 3+ experience in selling following IT Services         • Annual Maintenance Contracts for IT products (Servers, Storages, Network, Workstations, Desktops etc.).
       • IT Facility Management Services
       • Security Solutions including Security product licenses

• Desirable
       o Knowledge of salesforce or similar CRM tool

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in selling IT Services

  • Salesperson with at least 1-3 years’ experience in selling AMC services for IT Hardware (Laptops, Desktops, Servers and Storage) and sales of IT Hardware.

 

  • He should be willing to go to the field and sell. Not a back-end role and not a lead generation role.
  • He should be willing to travel for business requirements.
  • He will be on 60:40 (60% fixed salary and 40% incentive on meeting the target) .
  • Good communication – spoken and writing in English.

Budget: 4-5 LPA Fixed CTC and variable additional on meeting the target.

Notice Period: immediate-30 days.

  • Should have fair understanding of IT AMC business
