Skydo's team is based in Bangalore, consisting of a mix of experienced professionals and young talent from leading institutions.
About the Role
Skydo is looking for a Payments Partnerships Manager to join our dynamic Partnerships team in Bangalore. This role will report to the Head of Partnerships and play a critical role in identifying and collaborating with banks and payment service providers to build and enhance payment rails for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage existing partnerships: Collaborate with current banking and payment partners in India and globally, ensuring seamless operations of existing payment rails and expanding use cases.
2. Build new payment rails: Lead the development of new payment capabilities from identifying potential partners, managing the selection process, to onboarding. You'll work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to develop a customer-centric experience.
3. Expert on payment systems: Become the subject matter expert on global payment systems (SWIFT, cards, account-to-account rails) and understand the regulatory landscape in India and other key markets.
4. Cross-functional alignment: Drive strategic initiatives by working closely with internal teams such as Product, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Engineering, and external consultants/law firms.
What You Will Need:
- Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in fintech, payments, or banking.
- Education: Must be from a Tier 1 institution with a strong academic record.
Skills:
- Strong partnership management skills, particularly in the Indian payments and regulatory landscape.
- Creative thinker with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills to work with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and intellectual curiosity.
- Experience managing projects with partners across different time zones (APAC and North America).
