Part of growth strategy team and will have to undertake assignments related to operational improvement, supply chain optimization, sales improvement, cost reduction, market assessment and human productivity improvement.
Understand and assess engagement situation through detailed understanding of the client’s business situation, market factors, growth aspirations and profitability targets.
Develop in-depth financial & operational models using advanced excel skills and big data analysis tools.
Perform balance sheet, cash flow and income statement review
Gather, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data, draw conclusions, and develop strategic recommendations
On-site assessment of client’s functional processes and arrive at agreements with client stakeholders based on detailed logical findings
Create a robust business case for potential improvement areas in line with the engagement objectives.
Conduct On-ground primary research, observation studies and other qualitative analysis to collect data, analyze and structure it create a coherent message on the insights as per the expectations of the project manager
Aware of key industry trends (Industry 4.0/ connected cars/ IoT/ Evolving Consumer Behavior etc.)
Participate in Business Development Activities (Proposal Writing, POV creation, Industry Trends)
Work with corporates, venture capitalists, private equities and other investors
Participate in thought-ware generation activities of the team which helps the auto & industrial/ Consumer/ Tech practice as well as the overall GT brand in India.
Expected profile:
Academic qualification: Master’s Degree like MBA with a engineering degree
Work experience: 2+ years for Consultant, 3+ years for Senior Consultant
Industry experience: Comprehensive understanding of industry operations across all levels, from shop floor to leadership. Core Manufacturing, FMCG/Consumer durables, Industrial Products
Functional experience: Core Operations, Maintenance, Production, Sourcing & Procurement, Cost Reduction & Operational Excellence (operational improvement methodologies including TPM, TQM, Six Sigma, TRIZ, TOC, Lean, and business excellence models such as EFQM, JRDQV, and TBEM.) Hands on experience with industry 4.0, data analytics, digital, automation, artificial intelligent application, will be an added advantage
Strong track record with previous employment, preferably with consulting firms or corporate strategy
Enjoys long-term travel and excels in client-facing roles, thriving in environments away from the base location.
Known for a problem-solving mindset and a collaborative approach to addressing challenges.
Amiable and adept at fostering positive relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
Skill set:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
Strong analytical skills and should be good at structuring thoughts.
Advanced skills in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint) for data analysis and compelling presentations.
