Job Description
- Perform and interpret various diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, ultrasounds, and mammograms
- Collaborate with other physicians to determine appropriate imaging techniques and findings
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Analyze images for abnormalities or injuries and provide accurate reports to referring physicians
- Stay current on advancements in radiology technology and techniques
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Follow all hospital protocols and safety regulations
- Provide guidance and training to radiologic technologists and other staff members
- Possess excellent communication skills and bedside manner for interacting with patients and medical staff.
