Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients, industry trends,and competitive landscapes. Use this information to develop effective business development strategies.

2. Lead Generation: Identify and generate new leads through various channels, including, email campaigns, social media, networking events, and referrals.

3. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs and requirements, and proactively address any concerns to ensure client satisfaction.

4. Proposal Development: Prepare persuasive business proposals and presentations tailored to the specific needs of potential clients, showcasing the companies products or services.

5. Negotiation and Deal Closure: Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements. Successfully close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.

6. Collaborative Approach: Work closely with the marketing team to align business development strategies with marketing campaigns and promotional activities.

7. Market Expansion: Identify opportunities for geographic expansion and explore potential new markets or industry sectors.

8. Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and prospects in the CRM system. Monitor the sales pipeline and report on sales performance regularly.

9. Feedback and Market Insights: Provide feedback to the management team on market trends,client needs, and industry developments to support product/service enhancements.

10. Professional Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and tradeshows to expand the network of potential clients and industry contacts.

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or a similar role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a goal-oriented and proactive approach.
  • Understanding of market research methodologies and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in the [specific industry/sector] is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel, as needed, to meet with clients and attend industry events.
