Job Description
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions using Tally ERP 9 and Tally Prime.
Prepare and manage invoices, receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations.
Ensure timely entries of all financial transactions in the accounting system.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial statements.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Conduct periodic audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes.
Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
Act as an office assistant, performing general administrative duties such as managing correspondence, filing documents, and maintaining office supplies.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
Assist in organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes when required.
Liaise with banks, vendors, and clients to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to financial transactions.
Provide support during audits and collaborate with external auditors as needed.
Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding financial matters.
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting and office administration.
Proficiency in Tally ERP 9, Tally Prime, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, is an added advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
