Urgent requirements for Leading Automotive (Auto Parts) Manufacturing Company (MNC).🎯

Designation :- Product Manager

Department: Marketing (After Market)

Location : Vadodara

Education : BE / B.Tech in Mechanical with MBA (Preferred).

Experience : 5 to 8 Years  

Job Responsibility

1. Product Strategy and Product Planning. 
Ø Define Product Roadmap for Product Portfolio Expansion.

Ø Conduct Market Research (Secondary as well as Primary Research) i.e. Competition, Scheme, Product Pricing, Channel Margin on Product.

Ø Analysis & recommendation to safeguard product/parts with higher margins to the Marketing Head for their product line.

Ø Define Go to Market Strategy for a new Product / Part along with Sales Team and Plants considering Competition and Product Margin level with Scheme.

Ø Prepare and analyze yearly product-wise budget

2. New Products (/Parts) Launch Mechanism:

Ø New Parts Introduction as Per budgeted guidelines / target (As per Effective Vehicle Parc and Market Alignment)

Ø Managing the Project Management Gateway - Safe Launch Plan (Zero Registered Complaints on Launch till 6 Months).

Ø Effective Coordination / Preparation with Plants and company Quality Product Benchmark and Design Modification requests

Ø Support Quality in Product Validation in aftermarket.

Ø Creation of USP and FAB of the Products.

Ø Design the launch strategy (Potential markets, launch activity type, Product Samples, product collaterals) in alignment with Sales, Marketing.

Ø Drive defined budget for the first 6 months of the launch of the product (Lead role for 6 months) 

3. Promotions, Collaterals and Scheme:
Ø Field visits to understand and gain insights on product performance, market research, benchmarking product specification & pricing and competition analysis.

Ø Support preparation and drive the technical collaterals such as Product Catalogue, Application Chart.

Ø Based on market / regions requirement designing the product specific schemes as well as support the drive.

4. Controlling and Reviews:
Ø Monitor price correction as per the market acceptability and competitors price benchmarking with key competitors, providing suggestions for internal corrections and negotiate with the respective plants.

Ø Identify product performance gap at part line level and geography, recommend action plan for improving market share.

Ø Analysis Parts with low / no Sales - Taking into Product Phase out proposal aligned with Regions and Plant.

Ø Contingency Analysis and Implementation in the System to Boost budgeted Sales Target.

Ø Participate, Prepare and contribute Idea Generation Session for new product / segment Idea generation.

Ø Drive and Participate in Monthly Session with Regional Team.

Ø Prepare and Participate in Monthly MIS Update Meeting along with Head Marketing and management

5. Trainings and Development:
Ø  Train the sales team and functional team technically on Products through Feature Advantage and Benefit (FAB) Sessions along with Training and Quality team.

Ø  Internal Departmental Review Processes of Aftermarket Marketing Function.
