Job Description
- Provide clinic support by administering medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Assist with animal restraint and handling during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records for each animal seen
- Clean and sterilize examination rooms and equipment
- Monitor the well-being of animals before and after procedures
- Educate clients on proper animal care and medication administration
- Assist with surgical procedures and post-operative care
- Perform laboratory tests such as bloodwork and urinalysis
- Administer vaccines and other preventive medications
- Keep inventory of medical supplies and order as needed
