Job Title: Relationship Manager / Senior Relationship Manager (Institutional Sales)
Grade: Manager / Senior Manager (Individual Contributor)
Location: Bangalore
Reporting To: Regional Head – Karnataka & Kerala
Experience: 5–8 Years
Qualification: MBA
CTC: ₹15–20 LPA (Fixed) + Variable (Up to 25% of Fixed CTC)
Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and relationship-driven Relationship Manager / Senior Relationship Manager (Institutional Sales) to manage and grow the Institutional Sales business for Mutual Funds. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new institutional clients, strengthening existing client relationships, driving business growth, and expanding the organization's market presence.
The role requires strong expertise in Mutual Fund products, the Indian Fixed Income market, investment advisory, and institutional relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow Institutional Sales for Mutual Funds.
- Acquire new corporate and institutional clients while servicing and strengthening existing client relationships.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and institutional channel partners.
- Drive market share growth and increase brand recall for the organization.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable Mutual Fund solutions.
- Keep clients updated on market trends and relevant Mutual Fund scheme information.
- Build, manage, and enhance long-term client relationship value.
- Generate consistent business through regular client engagement and relationship management.
- Manage distributor relationships within the Institutional Sales segment.
- Leverage knowledge of Passive Products (ETFs and Index Funds) to support client requirements where applicable.
Qualifications / Requirements
- MBA with 5–8 years of experience in Institutional Sales with Asset Management Companies (AMCs) or Banks.
- Deep knowledge of Mutual Fund products and the Indian Fixed Income market.
- Strong investment advisory capabilities and market awareness.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven track record as both an individual contributor and collaborative team player.
- AMFI Certification is mandatory.
- Ability to build long-term client relationships and adapt to evolving market conditions.
