Project engineer- Bioprocess Foxx Life Sciences is a world leader in custom single-use systems (SUS) including tubing, bag, bottle, flask and carboy assemblies, filtration, fluid management, laboratory safety products, and glassware for the research, biotech, and pharmaceutical industries. Position Summary: The role will be to ensure that products shall be delivered to the customers as per standard lead times defined with the help Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Management team. Ensure quality products are developed and manufactured in accordance to governing regulations and processes.

Job Description

Essential Job Functions:
• Lead the organizational onsite requirements for the project management system.
• Build a strong interactive, working, and strategic relationship with manufacturing,
corporate quality management and other staff.
• Work with Manufacturing and Quality teams in performing root cause analysis,
recommendations, writing and implementing corrective/preventive actions,
verification of effectiveness and training.
• Evaluate, design, implement and improve a production and process control
strategy to achieve quality management and plant objectives.
• Obtains agreement on project scope, objectives, and priorities. Each Sales Order
from thecustomer will be handled by them as a ‘Unique Project’ and they’ll
handle it from ‘order acknowledgement for the customer’ till ‘shipping/ delivery
and invoicing documentation’issued for the project.
• Ensures adequate resources are assigned and held responsible for project
execution according to plan. Participate on risk assessment and options analysis
teams.
• Leads the planning and execution of assigned projects and ensures they are
implementedand closed on time.
• Monitors project progress and escalates issues appropriately with the Global
Bioprocess Project Manager and/ or the executive management team.
• Provides Daily status reports defining project progress, risks, problems, and
solutions to the Global Bioprocess Project Manager. Assist in identifying and
mitigating risks to project execution.
• Applies efficient work practices for project management and ensures
continual improvement of practices with the use of lessons learned. Make
decisions in manufacturing’s best interests to ensure their short- and long-term
needs are met.
• Responsible for completing actions and deliverables for cross functional projects
and teams.

ISO 13485
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Medical Device Directive, and/or ISO Quality System Standards
desired.
• Experience with Project Management tools and principles
• Basic knowledge of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 management systems
Supplemental Job Functions:
• Performs additional duties as directed.
Education and Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Biotechnology or Biomedical sciences
• Minimum 4 + years of experience in Project Management
