Job Description
- Assign appropriate medical codes to diagnoses and procedures according to medical records
- Review patient information for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
- Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify information
- Maintain patient confidentiality and data integrity
- Collaborate with billing department to ensure accurate reimbursement
- Stay up-to-date on coding changes and updates
- Provide training and guidance to junior coders if needed
- Utilize electronic medical record systems effectively
- Report any coding errors or discrepancies to management promptly
Shift: 9 AM to 4 PM IST
