Job Overview
Behind the Brands is seeking a creative and proactive Assistant Designer to support design production, social media content creation, and brand communication across multiple client accounts. The role involves designing social media creatives, publishing content, supporting creative direction during shoots, and editing basic Reels and short-form videos.
The candidate will also prepare monthly performance reports for social media accounts, monitor Instagram and design trends, coordinate with the in-house photographer and team, and ensure timely delivery of creative work. The position offers variety and direct collaboration with the Founder & CEO, including assistance with day-to-day tasks as required.
The ideal candidate should have a strong creative sense, familiarity with design tools, an interest in social media trends, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts. Candidates should be based in Lucknow and be comfortable with the current remote/hybrid arrangement and the planned transition to an office-based role.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and publish social media creatives for multiple client accounts.
- Participate in brand shoots and support creative direction alongside the in-house photographer.
- Edit basic Reels and short-form video content.
- Prepare month-on-month performance reports for every managed social media account.
- Model for brand shoots when required.
- Assist the Founder & CEO with day-to-day tasks and execute creative or operational assignments as needed.
- Monitor Instagram trends and design trends and contribute fresh creative ideas.
- Coordinate with the team and photographer to ensure timely project delivery.
- Manage creative requirements across multiple client accounts simultaneously.
Candidate Profile
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in design or social media content.
- Strong creative sense and a genuine interest in design.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Ability to take direction, work proactively, and take initiative.
- Awareness of current Instagram trends and design trends.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet delivery schedules.
- Must be based in Lucknow.
- Comfortable working under the current remote/hybrid arrangement, including in-person meetings approximately twice a week.
- Willingness to transition to an office-based role in Lucknow when the company opens its office.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Working knowledge of Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other design tools.
- Experience with Reel editing and short-form video production.
- Prior experience creating social media content or working with a branding or design agency.
- Comfortable appearing on camera for brand shoots.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual CTC: 3.00–3.60 LPA, depending on experience and skills.
