KK Techno Solutions provides engineered industrial utility solutions to manufacturing companies, greenfield and brownfield projects, plant engineering teams, EPCs, PMCs and MEP consultants. Its scope covers requirement assessment and system design through equipment selection, BOQ support, supply, installation, commissioning and lifecycle support.

Role Objective
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to strengthen KK Techno Solutions’ presence within the industrial project ecosystem. The role will focus on building relationships with Industrial Architects, MEP Consultants, Engineering Consultants, EPCs, PMCs, Project Heads, Plant Engineering Teams, CAPEX Teams and Industrial Procurement.
This is not purely a product-sales role. The successful candidate will identify projects early, establish relationships with influencers and decision-makers, understand upcoming utility requirements, and coordinate with the KKTS engineering team to develop appropriate technical solutions. The objective is to move KKTS upstream in the project cycle—from receiving RFQs after specifications are finalized to participating during concept development, engineering, budgeting and specification stages.
Key Responsibilities
1. Consultant, Architect, EPC & PMC Development
- Develop and maintain relationships with industrial architects, MEP consultants, engineering consultants, EPC contractors and PMCs.
- Understand current and upcoming projects, project timelines, utility requirements, consultant specifications and vendor-approval requirements.
- Work towards making KKTS a preferred technical resource and solution partner for industrial utilities.
2. Project Identification & Early-Stage Opportunity Development
- Identify opportunities before they become conventional enquiries.
- Track new manufacturing facilities, capacity expansions, production lines, compressor rooms, utility piping, nitrogen/oxygen requirements, energy-efficiency initiatives and plant modernisation projects.
- Maintain visibility with relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Technical & Solution-Based Business Development
- Capture flow, pressure, air/gas quality, nitrogen purity, operating hours, distribution requirements, existing problems and expansion plans.
- Coordinate with KKTS engineering teams for sizing, equipment selection, layouts, BOQs and technical proposals.
- Discuss industrial utility requirements confidently; detailed engineering will be supported by the technical team.
4. Specification & BOQ Development
- Support consultants and project teams with equipment selection, system sizing, technical specifications, BOQs, budgetary quotations, utility layouts and technical documentation.
- Assist with approved-make and vendor-registration activities.
- Establish KKTS and its solutions before the commercial RFQ stage wherever possible.
5. Customer & Decision-Maker Development
- Build relationships with Project Heads, Plant Heads, Engineering Heads, Utility Heads, Maintenance Heads, CAPEX Procurement, Purchase and Project Procurement teams.
- Develop new accounts and identify opportunities within existing KKTS customers.
6. Pipeline Management
- Maintain a structured pipeline: Lead → Project Identified → Stakeholder Connected → Requirement Established → Consultant/Specification Stage → RFQ → Proposal → Negotiation → Order.
- Record project name, location, description, stakeholders, consultant/EPC/PMC, estimated value, timeline, competition, current status, next action and follow-up date.
7. Commercial & Proposal Coordination
- Understand RFQs, ensure complete requirement capture, coordinate quotations and participate in technical-commercial discussions.
- Follow proposals through clarification, negotiation and order closure.
- Communicate engineering value, lifecycle cost, reliability and energy efficiency rather than competing solely on price.
8. Market Intelligence
- Gather intelligence on upcoming industrial projects, factory expansions, consultant appointments, EPC awards, industrial investments, competitor activity and technology trends.
- Convert relevant market intelligence into actionable business opportunities.
9. Representation & Networking
- Represent KKTS in consultant meetings, customer meetings, technical presentations, exhibitions, vendor-development meetings, networking events and joint principal/customer visits.
- Communicate professionally with technical professionals as well as senior management.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have 5–8 years of B2B/project business-development or project-sales experience in industrial MEP, HVAC, compressed air, industrial piping, utilities, process equipment, pumps, gas systems, nitrogen/oxygen systems, automation, electrical/critical power, factory infrastructure or other engineered industrial solutions.
Candidates with established relationships among MEP consultants, EPCs, PMCs, industrial architects and manufacturing project teams will be strongly preferred.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree required. Engineering qualification is preferred, particularly Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Industrial or related engineering disciplines. Candidates from other graduate disciplines may be considered where they possess exceptional relevant industrial project-sales experience and a strong consultant/EPC/PMC network.

What Success Looks Like
Success will not be measured only by the number of quotations generated. The role is expected to build a repeatable progression:
Consultant Relationships → Early Project Intelligence → Qualified Opportunities → Specifications/BOQs → RFQs → Orders → Repeat Relationships
- New consultant/EPC/PMC relationships developed

- Gross-margin contribution, repeat business and strategic account development
Compensation
- ₹45,000–₹60,000 per month, depending on experience, relevant industry exposure and existing relationships, plus performance-linked incentives and travel/conveyance reimbursement as per company policy.
- For exceptional candidates with a genuinely strong industrial consultant/EPC network, compensation may be considered flexibly.
